Welcome to Clubhouse
Childcare where children have lots of fun and learn at the same time. Clubhouse
Child Care has been in business since 1997. We have recently become a “group”
family child care. This means that we have 2 fun, loving caregivers. Our goal
is to provide your child with an educational, safe, and comfortable home away
from home. We strive to create a nurturing, creative and stimulating childcare.

The Child
Care area is set up into centers. Children are allowed to explore each area as
wanted…
Reading
Area
Complete
with many, many books, big comfy chairs, and carpet squares for each child to
have their own personal space.
Block
Area
Wood blocks,
legos and lego table, extra large legos, large soft blocks, brick style blocks,
people and animals
Dramatic
Play
An entire
walk in closet and hallway, full of dress up clothes and shoes for boys and
girls. Also has a play kitchen with food and dishes, tool bench full of tools,
and baby doll area.
Puppet
Show Area
The children
love to use their imagination putting on puppet shows for the other children.
We have several different puppets for them to choose from.
Listening
Center
Children
love to listen to books on tape/CD. They can listen to them as a group or use
the headphones for individual time.
Small Manipulative
Buckets
Many buckets
to choose from, including a science tub, lacing, potato heads, nuts and bolts,
felt shapes, lots of puzzles, and many more.
Art Area
Miscellaneous
art supplies are available for the children to use as they choose. Some examples
of available supplies are… paper, coloring pages, crayons, safety scissors,
stickers, and easel use. Some of the pictures below are from the open ended art
that the kids do during free play, and some are specific art projects and
worksheets that we do during table time. See our “normal day” to understand
what table time is.
Little
People Table
The
children’s imaginations soar with our long table that has built in tubs to hold
all of the fun little people.
Computer
Time
Educational
and fun computer games are available for the children to play.
Sensory
Tubs
Tubs full of
beans, sand, oatmeal, moon sand, water and other fun feeling materials such as
playdoh and shaving cream are available one to two times per week.
Large
Muscle
As well as
our large outdoor playground and very large yard, we have got an indoor slide
connected to our fun loft. When unable to play outside we keep ourselves active
and busy indoors.
Infant Areas
Infants have bouncy chairs, swings, ExerSaucers, Johnny jumpers, floor mats, boppy pillows and many baby toys to enjoy. The infants also have a separate bedroom for naps.
