Hello my name is Dawn Heaser. I am the mother of two daughters, Kendra (9), and Kylee (6).  They are students at Riverside Central here in Rochester.  I have had 20 years experience providing care for others.  I grew up in Eyota with my mom, dad and sister.  Back then you started watching cousins and neighbors at the age of 10.  Wow it is so different now.

All of my years of employment have been based off of caring and providing for others.

I was a certified nursing assistant for several years in St. Charles. I sadly left because it was so hard when you wanted to give special one on one attention to a resident, but due to number of people, were unable to so. It was heartbreaking.  After that, I moved on to work for Hiawatha Homes, providing in-home care for children and young adults with developmental disabilities. Very rewarding and a job I adored.

I made the decision to get my license and provide child care out of my home when my husband, 2 beautiful step children and I moved to Lanesboro and my oldest daughter was born. We were also licensed foster parents, something that gives your heart many rewards and pains.  Then due to a move back to Rochester I left the daycare and began working for ABC. I provided guidance, care, and supervision to adults with developmental disabilities.  WOW was that a great experience.

During that time my second Daughter was born. Shortly after that I was referred to Wendy as a daycare provider for my children.  My children and I became very pleased and very fond of Wendy, the other children, and Wendy's family. Now I am honored to be working for Clubhouse Child Care. I am learning everyday from Wendy and the children.
